Cancer Care Cymru

Cancer Care Cymru is a unique cancer charity which has been  developed specifically to provide information, support and care for people in Wales affected by cancer.
Cancer Care Cymru's main aim is to fund specialist nurses to work alongside NHS staff in Welsh hospitals. In particular to work alongside consultants in out patient clinics when patients are first told they have cancer and need support throughout diagnosis and treatment.
Cancer Care Cymru recognises that Wales currently has the  highest cancer rate in the UK and that the rate is increasing at the same time as the population of Wales is growing.
Supporters of
Cancer Care Cymru have expressed the      importance of having a totally Welsh cancer charity that       concentrates on patients and families needs when faced with a diagnosis of cancer.
Our website will tell you more about us and what we do.
