Blu opened their doors in December 2006. The salon is owned and run by Alexis, Gaynor, and Haley. All family members who have the same philosophy, to give their clients an experience, not just a hair cut or colour. Blu salon is very unique being situated on the upper level, with beautiful views over Penarth, with Victorian architecture and flora.
Blu has a warm ambiance, and it is that warmth, that clients return to week after week.

Blu’s view’s are fabulous, looking out over a Victorian sea side town.
Blu have 10 full time staff at all levels.
Blu is not just a hair Salon, it is a hair experience.
Blu have a salon coordinator Clare. Clients can call Clare who will give you personal professional advice. Clare was previously with another hair business in the vale. Haley started her hairdressing career many years ago, gaining a diploma city and guilds 1, 2, 3. Alexis background worked in another Hair Salon in the Vale. Alexis was a advocate trainer for an international hair company. Alexis then travelled overseas, worked and managed a salon in Sydney, Australia and returned back to Wales to join her mother Gaynor and sister-in-law Haley at Blu.

As of the new year, Blu are opening two evenings a week due to popular demand. When booking on a late night, Wednesday or Thursday, make sure you mention having a complimentary detox treatment to restructure your hair!
