THG Holidays and Cardiff Airport take Wales to the World
Swansea based tour operator THG Holidays has teamed up with Cardiff Airport to launch a brand new worldwide brochure based on flying from the capital.
The brochure will offer worldwide destinations such as Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore and Hong Kong all accessible from Cardiff International Airport from August 1st 2008.
Prices start from just £829pp for a 2 week holiday to Thailand.
Flights are based on both KLM and Flybe routes already established from Cardiff with connections in Amsterdam and Paris respectively. The brochure also includes cost savings such as free access to the 51 Degree Executive Lounge, discounted car parking, duty free shopping and accommodation at the Express by Holiday Inn hotel at the airport.
Whilst long-haul travel has always appealed in the region there is little doubt that transfers to London airports with long journey times, frequent delays, high transport costs and over-crowded terminals has put many potential travellers off.
Flying from your local airport via one stop connections is becoming an increasingly attractive alternative.
Although the cost of travel from the regional airports can appear to be more expensive when you explore further and consider all the hidden costs and the convenience of flying from Cardiff then the price is very attractive.
