NEW DESTINATIONS WITH THOMAS COOK

FROM CARDIFF AIRPORT

Thomas Cook is bringing the sun to Cardiff this winter, with the addition of two exciting new winter sun destinations to its programme from Cardiff Airport.

Travellers will now be able to head to Sharm El Sheikh in Egypt (6th November to 30th April) and Monastir, Tunisia (1st November to 3rd January and 7th March to 25th April).

Renowned for offering some of the best diving and snorkelling experiences, Sharm el Sheikh offers a number of resorts along the Sinai Peninsula coastline, each with their own unique atmosphere. While Sousse, in Tunisia, combines the hustle and bustle of city life with stunning beaches and historic sights.

Pete Constanti, CEO of Mainstream Travel at Thomas Cook, said: “We want to make it as convenient as possible for our customers to go on holiday. By adding these extra winter flight routes from Cardiff, holidaymakers now have even more destinations to choose from, which are easily accessible from their local airport.”

Spencer Birns, Cardiff Airport’s Head of Air Service Development, said: “We’re very pleased Thomas Cook has added Egypt and Tunisia to its winter schedule from Cardiff Airport as it shows the strong demand for winter sun holidays from South Wales which Thomas Cook has recognised. We would encourage all passengers looking to get away this winter to see what is available from Cardiff.”
